Aloha Fund & Donations

The Aloha Ballroom Dance Academy is a 501-c3, tax-exempt non-profit, charitable educational corporation and your contributions are fully tax deductible. Please include your name and e-mail address so that we can send you an electronic receipt for your donation.

Donations received are used in ways to give back to the dance community and the community at large. Donations are applied to a variety of events beyond the group classes such as, but not limited to the enhancement of themed social dances, expansion of the music selection & supporting the organization's goals. These donations afford the Academy discretionary monies to supply, purchase or reward the students, such as, but not limited to dance-related promotional items, partial contributions toward Academy student ticket purchases (to offset the student's cost) or complimentary gift certificates as awards.

The Academy has used the Aloha Fund monies to offset the cost of tickets for public dance events; to purchase dance-related items to gift to the supporters of the Aloha Ballroom Dance Academy's events; used in honorariums sponsoring visiting professionals and have contributed to the costs incurred by Academy students who have competed in the Hawaii Star Ball.
