How to Become and Academy Student

It's easy!

Have you always dreamed of gliding across the floor like Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers or dancing to the latin beats in nightclubs? The Academy has newcomers, beginners, intermediate and advanced dance students. There are dancers who want to continue improving their dance skills, dancers who want to learn a new skill or dance & couples who enjoy an activity, which they can do together for mutual enjoyment & improved relationship skills. We have Kama'aina as well as island visitors -- primarily adults in their early 20s through their active 80s & beyond!

Students can register in person or by mail. In-person Registration Nights are held at the beginning of each new Dance Quarter, along with a Social Dance and Potluck Dinner which is open to the public. Those wishing to receive Registration Notices and Dance News may do so by joining our Dance Email List. Completed Registration Forms(see links to forms below) can be mailed along with payment to the address provided on the form. To avoid late fees, Registration Forms must be received by the first night of dance classes to be eligible for the early registration discount; thereafter, the academy's standard registration rate applies. The Aloha Ballroom Dance Academy currently accepts cash, personal checks or money orders (made payable to 'Aloha Ballroom Dance Academy.')
